When opportunity arises, we must be ready to strike before it passesAbout the roleWe are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic general hand to assist our Port Services team with day-to-day bulk cargo activities such as: operation of mobile plant, setting up wharf for bulk operations, inspections, housekeeping, checking vehicles, plant, and equipment.
This is a dynamic and busy industry, so no two days are the same, which requires flexibility, good communication skills and the ability to respond to the demands of the shipping schedule.Prioritising tasks and showing initiative is a key part of this role; one day you could be driving our water truck and towing our hopper, then you could be helping set up for our bulk operations.About youYou will be someone who enjoys variety and meeting challenges head-on.
