This includes managing multiple product lines whilst being proactive in troubleshooting to ensure all manufactured products are of top quality.In addition to the above, you'll:Plan plant and equipment preventative maintenancePlan and programme calibration checks on plant as requiredEnsure a quality control plan is in place and undertaken to a high standard for the plantBe responsible for the production of quality products to meet stakeholder demandsStock control and monthly stocktakes for the plantLead through clear work instructions and monitoring of production staffProvide timely, constructive feedback and on-the-job trainingCoordinate various production, housekeeping and maintenance activitiesContribute to meetings, deal openly and honestly with issues, and constructively resolve conflictsClearly communicate information face-to-face or over phone and radio-telephoneUse Word, Excel, Email and other communication systemsUndertake safe work practices at all times whilst on siteWe're looking for someone with:Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in Polymer & Emulsion Production or Chemical Plant Production - requiredHold a relevant tertiary qualification - idealA good mechanical understanding and intermediate to advanced computer skillsGood communication skillsGood Work equals Good BenefitsMedical insurance for you and your whanau.Life insurance from day one.KiwiSaver employer contributions after service milestones up to 7%.Fuel discount card.Parental leave top-up payment with additional return to work support.Family scholarships.Ongoing training and development, career growth and progression opportunities.Great discounts at a wide range of retailers.This position is a full-time, permanent position guaranteed minimum 40 hours per week.
