The Policy and Planning Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to the Policy Planning and Consents Compliance team and providing programme coordination and support for our Three Waters Consent Replacement programme.
You will support the development of Council's planning policy, in particular supporting the upcoming District Plan review, as well as helping to coordinate a significant programme of work to replace the resource consents for Council's Three Waters infrastructure.
Ko wai koe | About you To be successful in this role you will have: Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role Outstanding communication skills - you will enjoy interacting with a variety of people and have the confidence to talk through concerns to find solutions Professionalism at all times, you'll be able to exercise sound judgement and support your colleagues when needed High level of competency in working with Microsoft applications for managing documents, tracking tasks, and budgets and communicating effectively.
High level of competency in supporting programme and project managers, helping to track activities, manage deliverables, monitor risks, and ensure efficient coordination across multiple workstreams.
