You’ll play a vital part in assessing baby’s development atkey stages, promoting health and education for children up to five years ofage, and supporting care-givers to develop their parenting skills. You’ll manage a client portfolio and willenjoy building relationships with whanau and families.
We are looking for dynamic and enthusiastic Plunket Nurse to work on apermanent basis (3-4 days per week) to provide client services within theManawatu/Horowhenua area. If you feel you are up to the challenge, then we wantto hear from you!
To be successful in this position, you willbe:
A Registered Nurse

Completed a one-year postgraduate certificateprogramme in Well Child Health (not essential).

Committed to practising in a manner thatreflects the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi

An excellent communicator and fluent in writtenand spoken English

Able to build and maintain strong relationshipswithin the community, clients and Plunket Staff

Have a full New Zealand driver's licence withthe ability to drive a manual car

A New Zealand citizen or permanent resident

Experienced working with families from diversecultural and socio economic backgrounds
