We are ready to employ several Plumber/Pipefitters across Auckland, Waikato, Hawkes Bay, Wellington, Bay of Plenty, Manawatu, and Northland regions.
These positions require reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious people.
On a day-to-day basis, your responsibilities will be to: Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems and materials required.
Set out and install hot and cold water systems and associated equipment.
Install water-based fire protection systems, including fire hydrants, hose reels, and sprinkler systems.
Install sanitary plumbing and water supply systems, discharge pipes, and sanitary fixtures.
Assemble and install mechanical services plant, air handling and conditioning equipment, and small bore heating systems.
Install sewerage and effluent pumping equipment and disposal systems.
Install below-ground drainage systems and associated ground support systems.
Install gas appliances, flues, and pressure regulating devices.
Fabricate and install metal roofing, rainwater goods, and flashings.
We need candidates with a solid work ethic, ensuring accuracy and quality.
You will be expected to communicate confidently with your line supervisor within the organization.
You will commit to your work area responsibilities with a high level of accountability, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard in the expected time frames, and you will actively participate in team activities and tasks.
As a minimum, we require at least 3 years of experience working in a similar position as a plumber/pipefitter undertaking construction, repair, and maintenance.
You must be able to provide evidence of this experience through references.
For these positions, we are offering $30 - $35 per hour on wages.
A normal week will consist of a minimum of 30 hours up to 50 hours between Monday and Saturday, depending on project stage and timeline.
For those willing to travel between regions, accommodation and other allowances will be provided.
