About the role:
Are you a Registered Early Childhood Educator looking for a meaningful career change? We are seeking a dedicated Registered Teacher to join our team of 4 Play Specialists on the Children's Ward. In this role, you will communicate confidently with children, their whanau, and the broader medical team, providing essential support to our young patients. You will also train to become a Registered Play Specialist, assisting in assessing the needs of patients and preparing them for medical procedures.

We work closely with the medical staff to make sure each child's emotional and developmental needs are met.
Skills and experience:
We are looking for a candidate who is:
Confident in communicating with children, whanau, and healthcare professionals
Prepared to undertake training as a Registered Play Specialist
Passionate about working with children in a healthcare environment
Creative, kind, and able to work collaboratively in a team setting
