We aim to equip educators with innovative tools, enabling them to personalize education at scale and unlock students' full potential.Job OverviewWe are seeking a seasoned Platform Lead to oversee our team of DevOps and Site Reliability Engineers.
The successful candidate will provide technical, people, and process leadership, fostering a safe and inclusive environment.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage EP's DevOps/SRE group, promoting a collaborative culture.Cross-functional collaboration to define architecture and technical strategy.Owning end-to-end availability, reliability, security, and performance of EP's platforms.Developing automation, observability, and processes to ensure high availability and scalability.Maintaining and enhancing build and deployment processes for increased engineering productivity and product quality.Cost-effective use of third-party providers like AWS.Designing and owning security controls to ensure compliance with frameworks like ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR.Educating software engineers on operational thinking when designing services.About You8+ years of experience in designing, developing, and operating cloud software at scale.5+ years in DevOps or SRE, preferably on AWS.Technical leadership and people management experience, including mentoring and supporting engineers.Deep understanding of cloud design patterns, operations, security, and cost models.Risk management, ambiguity, dependencies, and cross-functional stakeholder experience.Familiarity with distributed teams in global engineering organizations.Bonus points for experience with C#, TypeScript, React, Kafka, Terraform on AWS.What We OfferEquitable opportunities, growth, and development.Remote and flexible working arrangements, with a communication allowance.Three extra days of annual leave, parental leave top-ups, and community service day.Wellness allowance and Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Employee Equity Bonus Plan and referral program.Ongoing professional development and access to our Learning Hub.EP support groups, Diversity Works accreditation, and Carbon Net Zero BCorp status.Join Our TeamWe value diversity, individuality, and creativity.
