What you will do:
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading and guiding the cloud and infrastructure team through various operational and project-based challenges. The core purpose of the role is to architect, design, plan and deploy leading edge windows server, virtualized technologies and data center / server room Infrastructure throughout the enterprise environment, and complete department operational tasks.
As a team leader, your role extends beyond management; it involves inspiring and mentoring your team. You will lead the team in day-to-day operation, including strategy and design. You will collaborate closely with other IT teams and stakeholders, mapping out and designing IT solutions that align with business needs and strategies. This role requires a hands-on approach and a blend of technical expertise and leadership skills.
Skills and experience we are looking for:
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have;
IT-related tertiary qualification (Diploma or Degree)Minimum 5-7 years relevant experience, including management and managing complex IT infrastructure Experience with architecture and design issues related to IT infrastructure Strong IT infrastructure and operations experience Demonstrated people / team leader experience with resource planning skillsSolid understanding of cloud migrations and cloud operating models Knowledge of server migrations, physical hardware and infrastructure Effective communication skills across various teams and stakeholdersProblem-solving abilities and decision-making skillsThis role is ideal for someone passionate about driving change and leading a team in a dynamic, innovative environment.
