The OpportunityThis role offers significant room for professional growth. Once you have gained understanding of the business and its products and processes you will work closely with customers and cross-functional teams and play a pivotal role in the future of the company's product offerings.This position has been created to provide greater emphasis on creating solutions that enable the company to grow and support customer success.You'll have the chance to be involved in key initiatives in product and process development, contribute to sustainable recycling efforts, and directly impact the quality and efficiency of operations.The RoleAs a key member of the team, you will work across the entire business with a focus on Customer Support, Research & Development (R&D), and Quality Control.You will lead the development of new products and processes, ensuring that customers' needs are met with precision and innovation.Your responsibilities will include supporting the Manufacturing Manager and production team, overseeing QA processes, managing customer interactions, and staying updated with the latest developments in materials and processes.Additionally, you will be involved in recycling operations, working on formulations and process improvements to enhance the company's sustainability efforts.Key ResponsibilitiesConducting R&D tasks to meet business goals.Interacting with customers to plan and troubleshoot projects.Overseeing QA processes and training staff.Managing samples, records, and calibration requirements.Supporting recycling operations and process optimisations.Reporting and documentation as required by management.Required Skills and Experience:Qualifications: Ideally a bachelor's degree in Polymer Science or a related field.Experience: Some experience in a manufacturing environment in R&D, quality, production or engineering. A new graduate would also be considered.Skills & Personal QualitiesEnthusiastic and proactive in facing challenges.Strong customer service focus with a positive attitude.Ability to work effectively with diverse cultures.Advanced proficiency in Excel and other relevant software.Strong mathematical, reading, and writing skills.Excellent communication and reporting abilities.Strong computer skills and the ability to work at all organisational levels.How to apply: Use the apply function on this page.
