You will play a vital role in preparing, loading, delivering, and installing various plant displays and goods at our customer locations.
This role is ideal for those who thrive in a dynamic working environment, have a genuine commitment to providing outstanding service and take great care of the plants.
Location : Wellington branch, servicing the Lower North Island, with occasional travel to Napier, New Plymouth, and Palmerston North.
Working Hours : Full-time, Monday to Friday.
Flexibility for occasional overnight stays for longer trips, weekend work or early / late shifts depending on customer needs.
Benefits : Health insurance coverage for you and your family.Mobile phone and company vehicle for work-related purposes.Uniform and PPE equipment provided.Comprehensive training in our products, services and safety practices.Access to our employee reward program and career progression.Key Responsibilities : Load and unload the service vehicle while ensuring the safe delivery of plants to customer locations.Organize stock effectively to complete daily installation assignments.Install and remove plants following job specifications and client policies.Maintain plants to company standards through regular watering, pruning, cleaning, and fertilizing.Address plant health issues and client concerns to enhance work environments.Complete service reports to document tasks performed and ensure timely follow-up with clients.Participate in outdoor and exterior installations when required.Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.Stay aware of client needs and identify opportunities to improve service standards.Requirements : Eligible to work full-time in New Zealand.Full NZ driver's licence with a clean driving record.Clean criminal record.Excellent customer service to build upon client relationships.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.Comfortable working on ladders and able to adhere to health and safety standards.Able to work independently in the field and manage time efficiently.Willingness to drive long distances and stay away from home if required.High attention to detail to maintain high standards and achieve set targets.Confident using a mobile phone service app and devices.Experience or knowledge in horticulture, maintenance or building is desirable, but not mandatory.To ensure our success, this position requires successful candidates to complete a pre-employment assessment, which includes medical, reference, and criminal background checks.
