Plant Supervisor

They have established themselves as a market leader in process and manufacturing. Due to growth, we're seeking an enthusiastic trade qualified Render Plant Supervisor to join their team in the Young. Within this role you will be responsible managing all operations and maintaining equipment/machinery within the Rendering Plant, Trade waste and Equipment to ensure that product quality and production efficiency targets are met. The role: Ensure safety of Start-up and Shutdown of plant and equipment Monitoring processing of Render product Monitor and regulate production schedules. Ensuring efficient processing Load scheduling and loadout of product (including FFA testing and Meal Commodity testing) Cleaning and maintenance of housekeeping standards; and Reporting of concerns to relevant departments. Ensure all microbiological testing requirements performed and documented. Liaise with all department Managers (including Environmental Manager) Be involved with audits Oversee, training and coordinating render supervisor and operators to complete production requirements. Maintain cleanliness of render plant to the required level Maintain operational maintenance of plant and equipment, including greasing, equipment inspections and monitoring of operating temperatures.
