Use your skills and experience in equipment maintenance, reliability, and lubrication to take the business to the next level.About the Role:Provide the Production Team with the highest level of engineering maintenance support and troubleshooting while operating two Rotary Cement Mills and associated equipment on a 7-day 24-hour basis.Analyze equipment and machinery failure and drive continuous improvement.Carry out plant lubrication and greasing to improve equipment reliability and reduce costs.You'll need to have the ability to think on your feet and be capable of using your initiative to find solutions to ensure the machines are up and running as quickly as possible.Work with contractors and suppliers to ensure we operate to the highest level of safety in line with the company's EH&S policy.This is a vital role and requires someone who is detail-oriented and focused on reducing waste and improving efficiency.You will bring to the Role:Mechanical trade background with suitable trade qualifications and industry-related experience, you have a good all-round set of skills.Relevant experience with continuous plant operations in a high-volume production environment.Experience with reliability testing methods and tools.Welding and fabrication skills.Plant lubrication knowledge and experience including oil sampling.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across multi-functional teams.Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in an industrial setting.If this sounds like your next move and you wish to join a great team environment within the building products sector and work in Mount Maunganui, one of NZ's most desirable locations, please apply with your up-to-date CV & cover letter by clicking the APPLY NOW button.Applications close: Friday 22nd November 2024.
