Techlam was established over 30 years ago and is proudly New Zealand owned.
We produce a wide range of architectural and structural timber products for construction projects across NZ and beyond.We have big plans for 2025 with a strong order book, new machinery and a major increase in our production capacity.We are currently looking for Plant Hands, starting on 13th January 2025, to work on the production of laminated timber products at our factory in Levin.A can-do attitude and initiative are essential, and you will need to be a problem solver to get the job done.
Some experience with timber handling or manufacturing tooling would be advantageous, and good general fitness levels are required for heavy lifting.
It gets busy often at Techlam, so you must be able to stay calm and focused on the job at hand.These roles are Monday to Friday only, with eight-hour shifts between 6am and 6pm.You must have a good awareness of health & safety requirements in the workplace and be able to pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol screen.Techlam offers a good hourly rate and a safe and supportive workplace.Applicants should have citizenship, residency, or a valid work visa.Click 'Apply' or call Kris on 021 0883 5617 to talk about the role.
