Thank you for your interest in this position.We have received your application from Indeed, so the first step of your application is complete.To finish your application we will email you further details.Plant EngineerWe are seeking a suitably experienced and motivated Plant Engineer to join the Continuous Pulping Group at our Tasman Mill, Kawerau.About the role:As a Plant Engineer, you will be providing manufacturing, operations, process, and maintenance expertise and support to the Operations Team to successfully ensure plant production, reliability, and business objectives are met.
Reporting to the Area Manager, you will need excellent communication skills and be able to build and maintain strong relationships at all levels of the business in order to succeed in this role.Key Responsibilities:Ensure conformance to EHS&R standards, ensuring best practices and processes are in place.Developing and maintaining production systems such as KOPs and SOPs.Production planning, shutdown planning, and managing costs.Process problem-solving.Increasing capability of the people.What we offer:Competitive salary package.Enhanced superannuation.Free Regular Care Southern Cross medical insurance.Free income protection, permanent disability, and life insurance.Free onsite Annual Health Checks and Nurse Appointments.Some flexibility with WFH.Supportive, experienced, and committed Team.Collaborative work environment.You will bring to the role:A Bachelor of Chemical/Process Engineering preferably or similar relevant qualification.Ideally 2+ years operational experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.Ability to communicate with all levels of the business.Be practical and innovative, with good attention to detail skills.Enjoy working in a team environment.About the company:Oji Fibre Solutions (OjiFS) is the largest integrated pulp, paper, and fibre-based packaging manufacturer in New Zealand.
