We're looking for a Planning Engineer to join our LEAD Alliance partners, enabling Kainga Ora homes and communities to increase the supply of social, affordable and market housing in Auckland.

LEAD Alliance has been established to streamline land development, laying the groundwork for neighbourhoods that are better to live in and homes that are more affordable housing.
About the role:
In this role, you will work primarily with the LEAD Alliance at their Auckland CBD offices. As the Planning Engineer you will report to the Programme Lead. You will have joint responsibility to build and manage part of the master programme and associated reporting, escalation, and change control.
What you will be doing:
Provide guidance to delivery teams on productivity and sequencing.
Produce high level cashflow forecasting and earned value analysis.
Clearly and concisely communicate programme logic, milestone movements, critical and near critical paths from the master programme.
Work closely with the Area managers within design, construction, and Kãinga Ora teams
Develop forward workload programmes.
Foresee and address delays in programme.
What we're looking for:
Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated and able to manage a varied workload:
Previous programming experience within construction project.
Preferably Primavera P6 programming and competent with MS Project.
Experience maintaining programme updates and data.
Experience with large complex programmes of work.
Ability to interrogate, drive and challenge programme, construction and design.
Able to maintain effective networks and key relationships.
Ability to work autonomously.
