Planning and Scheduling Coordinator at NZ Defence Force, Manawatu-Whanganui Mo te tunga | About the role Work as a member of our experienced team who are dedicated to enabling training and education for staff through the effective scheduling and resourcing of planned training courses.
You will be responsible for:
Contributing to the overall delivery of training courses.Maintaining oversight of the course tasks and resourcing activities.Providing assistance and advice to training providers.Identifying, sourcing and providing resources as required for all courses.Ensuring courses are well planned, scheduled and timetabled correctly.This role is based at Linton Military Camp. Once you have undergone training and are up to speed, there may be the option for flexible working arrangements.
This role requires excellent attention to detail and unrivalled people and planning skills as you juggle, negotiate, collaborate and investigate your way towards the best resourcing solutions.Ultimately you will be seenas a trusted advisor and subject matter expert in your allocated area of work.
The key skills and experience required for this role are:
Planning and coordination experience ideally within the training/learning space.Confident communication and relationship management skills.Excellent organisational skills.Able to manage multiple demands and work well under pressure.Strong problem solving abilities - demonstrates sound judgement and decision-making expertise.Proficient in MS Office Suite and ideally have some knowledge of scheduling software.Applications may be reviewed upon receipt.
