Based in Mt Wellington, Auckland and reporting to the Planning Manager.
The role will focus on ensuring the material deliveries and inventory of consumable and miscellaneous goods are optimised while meeting the production schedule.
The role also involves checking and closing Production Work Orders, prepare Production Performance Reports, New Item Creation and assisting production supervisors with staff training in Work Order Issuing and Receipting.
Job tasks and responsibilities Production Planning and Logistics Duties and Responsibilities: Preparation of Production Work Orders.Check Work Order Records to ensure data accuracy of Material Issuing and receipting.New item creation and planning data maintenance.Updating and maintaining inventory control system, ensuring stock level accuracy and performing stock takes.Manage relationships with outwork service providers to support production needs Purchasing Support Assist the purchasing team with tracking orders and ensuring timely delivery of materials and supplies.Help optimize inventory levels for consumables and miscellaneous goods.Support in resolving material supply shortages, as needed.
Other Duties: Provide assistance with any other tasks assigned by senior managers related to production, logistics, or purchasing.
