The core responsibilities of this Planner role include: Resource consents processing Processing land information memorandums (LIMs), and input into other processes such as project information memorandums (PIMs) Assistance with the District Plan review, as well as review and monitoring of implementation Provide planning advice to the public, consultants, and MDC employees Successful candidates will have: A relevant tertiary qualification(s) in Planning/Resource Management, or other relevant degree Be a member of NZ Planning Institute (or be eligible to apply) Previous work experience in a planning position is advantageous, but not essential Excellent time-management skills High levels of accuracy Knowledge of and respect for the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi At Team Mack we have some great benefits including Special Leave ('gifted' leave to attend dental/legal/specialist appointments etc.
