Rainer has been providing irrigation and effluent solutions to farmers for over 34+ years and have a passion for the industry and our clients. With an innovative and well-resourced team, we offer turnkey solutions for all on-farm water reticulation requirements including power, pumps, pipe, and Pivots. With growing customer demand and the need to scale up our Service operations we are looking for a new Pivot Technician.Qualifications & experienceIrrigation experience preferred, mainline understanding of water & Power distribution on a typical NZ Farm.Mechanical knowledge and experience to be able to work out problems with Pivots, troubleshooting with ease to locate issue and find solutionsGreat Communication skills, dealing with management internally and external clients. Training clients on new pivots when commissioned.EWRB A&B qualified - Single and Three Phase Application Service technician qualified.Able to diagnose faults within one visit to site and come up with a Part list of what is needed to fix for major break downs.Reorganize known faults by age and build of machine and quickly come up with solutions to better the life of pivots for end client benefit.Is responsible within themselves, self-led and can lead others, using own technical experience whilst completing client breakdowns.Tasks & responsibilitiesComplete Installation and Servicing jobs on time in accordance with company standards. Responsive times and client touch points.Diagnose and problem solve with Pivot related issues to complete jobs accurately and effectively.Be organized, plan, have parts and all necessary tools organized to complete the job efficientlyCommissioning of new pivots, after an assembly team has finished building, running the Commissioning process, checklist checking accurate build, and correct electrical connection configurations.Work autonomously, self-motivating, with a willing to assist others and eager to learn more.Support other company departments with technical and hands-on ability as requiredAble to diagnose based on trouble shooting techniques for Pivots out on Safety, IMC, steering faults, code log errors.Company VehicleOn Call Retainer + Call out feeCompany Cell phoneOn boarding bonusOvertimeVariety of faults locations and machines.Mixture of client types, mums & dads to corporate farms.
