With growing customer demand and the need to scale up our service operations, we are looking for a new Pivot Technician.Qualifications & ExperienceIrrigation experience preferred, with an understanding of water & power distribution on a typical NZ farm.Mechanical knowledge and experience to troubleshoot and resolve issues with pivots.Great communication skills, dealing with management internally and external clients, including training clients on new pivots when commissioned.EWRB A&B qualified - Single and Three Phase Application Service technician qualified.Able to diagnose faults within one visit to site and provide a parts list for major breakdowns.Ability to recognize known faults by age and build of machine and quickly develop solutions to extend the life of pivots for client benefit.Self-led, responsible, and able to lead others using technical experience while completing client breakdowns.Tasks & ResponsibilitiesComplete installation and servicing jobs on time in accordance with company standards, ensuring responsive times and client touchpoints.Diagnose and problem-solve pivot-related issues to complete jobs accurately and effectively.Be organized, plan, and have parts and all necessary tools ready to complete jobs efficiently.Commission new pivots after the assembly team has finished building, ensuring accurate build and correct electrical connection configurations.Work autonomously, self-motivated, and eager to assist others and learn more.Support other company departments with technical and hands-on ability as required.Able to diagnose issues based on troubleshooting techniques for pivots, including safety, IMC, steering faults, and code log errors.Company vehicle provided.On-call retainer + call-out fee.Company cell phone.Onboarding bonus.Overtime opportunities.Variety of fault locations and machines.Engage with a mixture of client types, from small family farms to corporate farms.Application QuestionsHow many years' experience do you have as a service technician?Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in New Zealand?Do you have a current New Zealand driver's licence?Do you have customer service experience?How far are you willing to travel for work?Do you have experience as a technician in the electricity industry?How many years' experience do you have as a Field Technician?Are you willing to undergo a pre-employment medical check?
