Our client has long-term projects and is now seeking a Pipe Welder with Stainless experience to join their growing team.You will be offered:A competitive remuneration package to match your experience ($33-$35 per hour)Full time hours, 40-45 hours per week with opportunity for more as project timelines and demands allowWork for a successful family-owned companyTo be successful for this role, you need to have the following skills & Experience:You will have experience welding and manufacturing pipework and fittings; installation experience a bonus but not a requirement.You will be competent working with both stainless and carbon steel, and with pipework ranging from 50NB – 2000NB.You will hold your NZ welding qualifications (ASME IX).Confined space ticket an advantage as well.Good written and verbal communication skills – the ability to work well in a varied team environment + be able to interpret and read drawings and blueprints.About the Company/PositionThe company is based in Whanganui and has a good forward workload to offer some job security. They manufacture pipework for the water industry (wastewater, reservoirs, treatment plants). You will be based in the workshop, but there may be an opportunity when needed to also assist with on-site works. Hours are Monday to Friday, to offer that work-life balance. Saturday work may be occasional if deadlines are to be met, but not regular.This role is an immediate start for the right person.
