Pipe Welder/Fabricator

Looking for an established Pipefitter who can hit the ground running. This role is to be filled immediately, so only NZ Residents/Citizens will be taken into consideration. Key Responsibilities: Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems for various applications (water, gas, steam, etc.). Interpret drawings and schematics to determine pipe layouts and installation procedures. Install pipework, assemble pipe spools, and bolt flanges. Measure and fit pipework to ensure proper alignment and functionality. Prepare pipework as required for welding processes. Able to fabricate within the workshop on various jobs. Collaborate with other trades and team members to ensure completion. Troubleshoot and repair existing piping systems as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Qualifications: Valid NZ residency and work rights. Relevant trade qualification or apprenticeship in pipefitting. EWP (Elevated Work Platform) ticket preferred. Previous experience in industrial/commercial pipefitting. Skills: Strong ability to interpret technical documents and schematics. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Benefits: Competitive pay rates. Overtime after 45hrs & 1 1/2. Paid birthday leave.
