Korero mo te turanga - About the role
The Wellington Physiotherapy Team has a shared leadership model headed by a Team Lead and two kairuruku/coordinators. Together we have created a team we are proud to be a part of and now, with one of our coordinators moving to a new opportunity, we are looking for someone who shares our vision to join our leadership team.
We are using this change in leadership team to evolve how we distribute our leadership focus. Our overarching goals are to:
provide the best service that we can, tailored to the community that we serve
support physiotherapists at different stages in their career to reach and achieve their full potential
Our coordinators will work together, and with the team lead, to support the inpatient team as a whole and the clinicians at each stage of their career pathway, new graduate, rotational, experienced and into designated roles. They facilitate the day to day operations of the team, managing leave, sickness and training as well as longer term development and career support.
This role is 0.5FTE (20 hours per week) and for current Health New Zealand candidates this can be combined with clinical hours to increase this post up to full time.
