Details: Permanent, Full Time - 48 hours per fortnight (0.6 FTE)

About the Role
An opportunity has arisen to join our Tokoroa based Physiotherapy team who cover in-patients, outpatients and community. The community aspect includes delivery of the early support discharge programme through the START service and the ACC In Home Strength and Balance programme which is targeted at preventing falls in the elderly.
The position is ideal for a physiotherapist who is keen to advance their career with the support and enthusiasm of a close knit team. The role requires the successful applicant to be adaptable to change, resourceful and flexible to service needs and to have a genuine passion for working with patients and their whanau on their health journey.
The Physiotherapy service has approximately 90 staff including Physiotherapists, assistants and administrators that work across the large geographical area that is Te Whatu Ora Waikato. We have staff based at Waikato Hospital, our secondary hospital in Thames and our three rural hospitals in Tokoroa, Te Kuiti and Taumarunui and across our many community bases in areas such as Morrinsville, Matamata, Cambridge, and Ngaruawahia.

About you
Skills and experience you'll need to be considered for the role:
NZ Physiotherapy registration and a current annual practising certificate
Current valid full New Zealand drivers' licence
A passion for learning, adaptability to change, and eagerness to gain clinical experience across a variety of clinical areas
The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of the physiotherapy and wider multi-disciplinary team across various environments
Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with patients, their Whanau and other health care professionals
