Our physiotherapy department has well-equipped treatment areas including a gym and hydrotherapy pool, and is situated within an Allied Health Hub. Clinical inpatient areas include surgical, orthopaedics, medical and rehabilitation wards with in-reach to paediatrics and the emergency department. There is a busy outpatient department with opportunity for a wide variety of musculoskeletal individual and group opportunities, as well as neurological conditions and community work. We aim to support therapists to work within their areas of interest with plenty of opportunity for an interesting and varied workload.
You will be working as part of an inter-disciplinary team providing quality assessment, intervention, advice and discharge planning through a patient-centred approach. The role requires you to be adaptable to change, resourceful and flexible to service needs.
The working hours are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm and you will be required to participate in the on-call roster at weekends.

You will be a NZ Registered Physiotherapist with comprehensive clinical assessment and problem-solving skills with the experience and ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively. This role is suitable for Experienced or New Graduate clinicians. You will have excellent communication skills to liaise with health professionals and health agencies.
The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ work visa at the time of applying.
