Our Organisation Te Pae Hauora o Ruahine o Tararua MidCentral (MidCentral) is part of Te Whatu Ora, Health New Zealand and provides healthcare services to over 180,000 people across the Manawatu, Horowhenua and Tararua regions. With a large hospital campus in Palmerston North, it also provides key health care and support services to neighbouring communities.
The Opportunity We have a full-time position for a Physiotherapist, working 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday plus rostered weekend and on-call duties. These are based in the Palmerston North Hospital with a rotation in the Horowhenua Health Centre.
Rotations are in all core areas of physiotherapy. Each rotation is of four months duration. You will be working alongside experienced clinicians in acute surgical, medical, and orthopaedics wards, as well as inpatient rehabilitation, musculoskeletal outpatients and community services. The applicant requires both a current APC and Driver's Licence. Support around professional development and regular supervision will be given.
