About the Role
Need a strong foundation in physiotherapy? Keen for the variety of a hospital-based rotational position? Come and be part of our skilled and friendly physiotherapy team in Hawkes Bay. Working in partnership with whai ora, whanau, and the wider multidisciplinary team, you will provide high quality, person-centred assessment and therapy, while developing your own skills and confidence.
About the Team/Service/Location
You will be part of a diverse and supportive wider team of physiotherapists. You will have access to rotations in acute, sub-acute, outpatient, and community; with strong career pathways for your future development. We value continued professional development, mentoring, supervision, and ongoing training. You will have access to regular in-service training, special interest working groups, and learning opportunities to develop your clinical skills. Our Physiotherapy Professional Lead will support your growth and promote the physiotherapy service throughout our hospital.
About You
We are looking for a Physiotherapist who:
Has a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, or equivalent
Is New Zealand registered with a current annual practising certificate (APC)
Is flexible, proactive, and eager to learn
Has competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
Has experience in projects/initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings
Is keen for professional development support which is provided annually
