New Graduate Position For the first time in 3 years North Waikato Physio have a 2024 new graduate position.
We are an established community-centric practice based in Huntly, with two other clinics in Te Kauwhata and Ngaruawahia. The new graduate position will be based out of Huntly where we have a well-appointed rehab gym with VALD testing equipment (forcedecks and dynamo) and 4 treatment rooms. The role is primarily musculoskeletal based with some clinic based vocational strengthening programs, sports team cover if desired and you will always have senior physio's onsite with you every day.
We have weekly hour long inservices and you will be guaranteed 2 hours a week one on one mentoring/supervision with senior physio staff. It is a salaried position so there is no pressure to see patients to get paid. We have a bonus structure based on time in employment and a generous education allowance for all staff. Given our semi-rural location (20 minute drive from Hamilton) a travel allowance is also included if you aren't living locally.
Summary of benefits:
Salaried positionWeekly inservices2 hours a week mentoring/supervisionBonus structureEducation allowanceTravel allowance We also have a North Waikato Physio scholarship for students who grew up or went to school in our region.
We are a small clinic (4 fulltime close-knit physios) where we work hard and have fun doing so. Work-life balance is really important to all of us, as is getting remunerated well for what we love to do! We love our staff challenges and regular social events outside of work with the annual Christmas party always a highlight.
Our current staff have all been here a minimum of three years and have branched into doing their own areas of interest including hand therapy, pelvic health and pilates. It is due to ongoing growth we are looking for a new graduate to invest our time and knowledge in.
