Job DescriptionAbout the Mahi (role) Our clinic has been well-established over the past two years and is continuing to expand.
We are on the lookout for a Hybrid Physiotherapist who has a skilled clinical background with a variety of musculoskeletal injuries, or impairments and an interest/experience in vocational rehabilitation.
As a clinical Physiotherapist, you will provide experienced assessment, diagnosis, and patient management for our clients.
You will deliver assessments and develop vocational rehabilitation plans from the clinic, as well as remotely (work site and work from home) including the required travel.
We hold the Well at Work/ Vocational Rehabilitation Services, Pain Management, Training for Independence, Integrated Care Pathway MSK Contract, Aged Care, Private Rehabilitation Contracts, ACC & Private Rehabilitation Services, Pelvic Health, and much more.
There is a great opportunity to work within a diverse range of services and grow your skill set.
Ideally, you will be able to work full-time, Monday to Friday 40 hours per week.
However, we can offer flexibility in work hours for the right candidate.
About the Hokitika Team Our team currently consists of a Physiotherapist, an Occupational Therapist, and an Administrator.
We are a small but experienced team who are close-knit and enjoy regular social events.
Be part of a team that has achieved some great things in the equity space as well.
They continue to increase the cultural capability of the team and build new networks in the community with Maori health providers and local iwi.
We are based in a purpose-built clinic, with a strong and well-developed team further supported via telehealth professions.
There is free parking close to the clinic, and the CBD is within a 5-minute walk of the clinic.
Hokitika is a beautiful place with fantastic views of Mt Cook behind the clinic.
You will have access to great tramping and mountain biking trails, just over an hour's drive to the closest ski field, and enjoy the stunning beach on your doorstep.
Desired Skills and ExperienceAbout You This is a clinical role, therefore you must have a Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy. Previous clinical experience in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, Older Person's Health, or Vocational Rehabilitation would be an advantage.
It is expected that the successful applicant would be willing to work towards a post-graduate qualification.
