MercyAscot is part of the Healthcare Holdings Group of companies and is New Zealand's largest private surgical facility with 22 theatres across 3 sites (and growing fast!) including an Intensive Care Unit and Coronary Care facilities. Our surgical specialties include: Colorectal/Gastro, Gynae, Urology, Neurology, Oncology, Plastics (incl flaps), ENT/ORL, Orthopaedic/Spinal, Head & Neck, and Cardiac/Vascular. Our patients are both adults and children.
We are currently looking for an NZ Registered and experienced Physiotherapist to work every weekend at Mercy Hospital. This is a permanent part-time role which could include extra shifts additional to the set weekend from time to time.
If you have availability to work a Saturday or a Sunday or both then come and talk to us. The hours would be Saturday 8:00 am - 3:00pm and Sunday 8:00 am - 1:00pm. The role is responsible for: Providing expert clinical Physiotherapy service to promote optimal patient outcomes in partnership with the patient, their family/whanau and the multidisciplinary team.
Clinical practice including pre and post operatively for a variety of procedures including orthopaedic, cardiothoracic and general medical/surgical including oncology.Responsible for a clinical caseload and the ability to demonstrate effective clinical reasoning to provide world class careDemonstrates the ability to work effectively within a clinical team, contributing to continuous improvement and compliance with relevant professional standards and ethics.If you can commit to weekend work please apply now.
