We have a permanent part-time (16 hours per week) role for an Emergency department physiotherapist to support a 7 day service. This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career in both clinical leadership and advanced clinical practice.
We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate musculoskeletal physiotherapist to deliver advanced level physiotherapy services to the Emergency Department at Tauranga Hospital. You will be working as a primary contact practitioner alongside an established ED team comprising Physiotherapists, Clinical Nurse Specialists and Nurse Practitioners and Senior Medical Officers. You will also contribute to and provide advanced clinical education to Allied Health staff and others. This role encourages flexible working to ensure there is a physiotherapist in the emergency department 7 days of the week.
There will be the opportunity to expand your scope of practice to include skills such as venepuncture and cannulation, casting, and prescribing under standing orders. We are committed to helping staff grow in a safe and supported environment.

This role is covered by the PSA Allied Public Health, Scientific and Technical Collective Agreement. Salary range for this position is $107,579 to $116,390 (full-time equivalent).
