Through integration and collaboration, we're building a health system underpinned by partnership, equity, sustainability, whanau-centred care, and excellence.About the RoleWe have an amazing opportunity for an enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our team at Dargaville Hospital on a permanent part-time basis.In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide expert physiotherapy that promotes independence, safety, and wellbeing to the patients of Health New Zealand. You really can enjoy the best of both.Along with an interesting wide variety of work to keep you engaged, you will work alongside a supportive and tight-knit team with the opportunity to gain further knowledge and skills within the team as well as other staff members in the wider service.About youEssential Skills and ExperienceQualified Physiotherapist with registration as a Physiotherapist with the Physiotherapy Board of NZ (or eligible for) and a holder of a current practicing certificate.Sound knowledge of Physiotherapy theory and principles or practice, able to assess client's needs and take appropriate action.Proven ability to communicate with and relate to a wide range of people and age groups, along with proven time management, priority setting skills, and problem-solving ability.Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.Experience in projects/initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.Working for Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is 'the weaving of wellness'.
