Health New Zealand / Te Whatu Ora Te Tai Tokerau has an amazing opportunity for an enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our team based at Dargaville Hospital and become an effective member of the multi-disciplinary team process that focuses on meeting quality outcomes for clients.
About the position:
In this position you will provide expert physiotherapy which promotes independence, safety and wellbeing to the patients of Health New Zealand / Te Whatu Ora, Te Tai Tokerau.
This is a permanent part time position working 24 hours per week, although there may be flexibility to increase those hours if the applicant is prepared to travel. The work will be predominantly Musculoskeletal, providing cover in the General Ward for Annual and Sick leave.
About you:
Applications are welcomed from experienced Physiotherapists looking for a new challenge as well as new-graduate Physiotherapists ready to start their careers in 2024.
You will be a Qualified Physiotherapist with Registration with the Physiotherapy Board of NZ (or eligible for) and a current APC.
To be successful in this role, you must have sound knowledge of physiotherapy theory and principles of practice, able to assess clients' needs and take appropriate action.
You will have proven ability to communicate with and relate to a wide range of people and age groups, along with proven time management/priority setting skills and problem-solving ability.
