Physiotherapist (Contractor) - Bay Of Plenty Healthvision is a lead provider of Specialist Homecare, Community Nursing and Rehabilitation services throughout New Zealand. We are looking to engage with a Physiotherapist to work in an independent contractor capacity and provide specialist clinical services to people in the community.
Job Location: Bay of Plenty
About the role:
This community-based role requires a dynamic, passionate approach to community care and rehabilitation. You will complete community-based multidisciplinary rehabilitation programmes such as training for independence programmes for ACC and other contracts.
Job Responsibilities:
You will be allocated referrals based on your location and cover a geographical area that suits your needs.

Complete assessments, report writing, and support planning.

Work holistically using a philosophy of people helping people with strong local knowledge of the NZ health system.
The ideal candidate will have:
A passion for helping people in the community.
Previous experience working in the community.
Ability to communicate with primary and secondary healthcare and understanding of ACC and MOH community contracts.
Working knowledge of neurological and musculoskeletal rehabilitation types.
Current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand and NZ practising certificate.
Ability to work autonomously with a strong solution focus.
Excellent communication and report writing skills.
Time management and relationship building skills.
Ability to travel around the Northland region.
Right to work legally in NZ.
