Mo te turanga | About the role
As a Physiotherapist working in the HOME and REACH teams, you will specialize in delivering physical therapy to patients in their own home and in the community. You will draw on your generalist knowledge base to provide all types of physiotherapy, however there is a focus on improving physical mobility, strength and balance. Your role is pivotal to support our patients with their goal centred focus on their rehabilitation while they remain safely in their own home.
You will work both autonomously and as part of a great team, and be responsible for managing, and prioritising your patient caseload
Keen to be part of and develop quality services in collaboration with other committed inter-professional team of health professionals.
Attend regular in-services, senior staff mentoring and peer review, a comprehensive on-call competency training framework and access to course and conference funding.
To be successful in this position, you will also need to demonstrate the following:
Exceptional team-player with the ability to work collaboratively across a wider multi-disciplinary team.
You will have at least 2 years' experience and be registered with the Physiotherapy Board of NZ and hold a current annual practicing certificate.
Strong organisational, time-management and clinical priority-setting skills.
Resourceful and resilient; able to apply critical thinking to solve complex problems.

This role belongs to the DHBs/PSA Allied, Public Health and Technical Multi-Employer Collective Agreement and falls between Step 1 ($70,842 p.a) and Step 7 ($100,466 p.a pro rata) of the Degree-based Allied, Public Health and Technical Salary scale.
