We work collaboratively with families / whānau and other services to support their goals and reach their potential.
Our team of Allied Health Professionals work with children in their homes, early childhood centres and at our own clinics in Christchurch Central City.
Our service covers Kaikoura to Rangitata.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a NZ registered Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team on a permanent part-time [0.6] basis.
The role is based at Montreal House and involves caring for our patients in the community, so travel within Canterbury is required.
The hours associated with this role are between Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm.
Ko wai koe | About You In this role, you will be responsible for: * Undertaking assessments, completing appropriate interventions and providing advice or referring to other services; * Actively engaging the child and their family/whānau in all aspects of intervention; * Helping to facilitate service improvements and participating in quality improvement initiatives.Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and Experience * The ability to be flexible and adaptable to manage a varying case load; * Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and foster trusted relationships with clients, their family/whānau, and external service providers; * Current NZ Registration with the Physiotherapy Board and current Annual Practicing Certificate; * Enable accreditation as well as experience within child development is advantageous; * A current driver - s license with the ability to drive both a manual and automatic car.Mō mātou | About Us - Ko ngā tāngata, te mātua mahi - Putting people at the heart of all we do - Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora, leads the day-to-day running of our health system across New Zealand, with functions delivered at local, district, regional and national levels.
