Health New Zealand / Te Whatu Ora Te Tai Tokerau has an amazing opportunity for an enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our team based at Bay of Islands Hospital in Kawakawa, Northland. About the role: You will provide expert physiotherapy which promotes independence, safety and wellbeing to the patients of Health New Zealand / Te Whatu Ora, Te Tai Tokerau in the community as well as inpatients. Become an effective member of the multi-disciplinary team process that focuses on meeting quality outcomes for clients and be presented with daily variety and clinical challenges Managing a clinical case load according to current best practice standards and maintaining and improving skills are essential components to this role. This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday. About you: Applications are welcomed from experienced Physiotherapists looking for a new challenge as well as new-graduate Physiotherapists ready to start their careers in 2024. Requirements: You will be a Qualified Physiotherapist with current Registration with the Physiotherapy Board of NZ (or eligible for) and a current APC. To be successful in the role, you must have sound knowledge of physiotherapy theory and principles of practise, able to assess clients' needs and take appropriate action. You will have a demonstrated patient-centred practice You will have proven ability to communicate with and relate to a wide range of people and age groups and proven time management/priority setting skills, and problem-solving ability.
