Health and physical education

We are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic physical education and health teacher to join our team. We offer a wide range of courses for our students, including academic and non-academic PE classes, popular Y9 and 12-13 adventure education courses, and an innovative athlete development programme in Y10 and 11.
Applicants will be committed to developing modern teaching and learning practices and will be familiar with NCEA and the New Zealand Curriculum . An ability to teach adventure education (outdoor ed) is an advantage.
Upper Hutt College is part of the BeTTER Jobs Programme which provides generous support for beginning teachers, or teachers who have completed the Teacher Education Refresh (TER) Programme in 2024, and who are appointed to this school.
