This position will:Contribute to organisational growth and success as a key member of the senior leadership teamInspire, engage and mentor the Fundraising and Marketing teamLead the ongoing development, implementation and review of fundraising and marketing strategies which are aligned with the City Mission's valuesManage budgets and deliver targets for growth in total fundraising incomeOrganise and attend events and networking with relevant stakeholdersIdentify, develop and secure new partners and individual donors to grow a diverse income streamManage all external communications and media engagementEstablish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholdersThis is a permanent, full-time position.Ideal AppointeeWe are seeking an experienced leader with the following skills and expertise:Demonstrated success in philanthropy, including achieving income targets through major marketing and fundraising campaigns in the not-for-profit sectorPassion and heart for social and community services, and a strong empathy for marginalised, disadvantaged or vulnerable members of our communityRelevant educational background or equivalent professional experience (5 years+)Inspirational leadership skills, with significant experience guiding company strategy in marketing, fundraising, event planning, donor relations and communicationsProven ability to develop and execute strategic fundraising plans and goals, in line with budget, with expert-level knowledge of fundraising best practicesProven stakeholder relationship management and networking skillsSuperior verbal and written communication skills, enabling successful engagement with stakeholders at all levels, internally and externallyExperience managing significant budgets with strong financial management, analytical and reporting skillsFamiliarity with impact monitoring, evaluation, and learning frameworks specific to philanthropic effortsStrong digital competence which includes the use of MS Office suite, social media platforms and CRM systemsIn return, we can offer you a rewarding role within a fun and supportive team environment, where no two days will be the same!
