The role will include stock control, ward supply, in and out patient dispensing, non-sterile compounding, and assisting in the general day to day running of the dispensary.
Hospital experience is preferred and you will possess strong time management, planning, and organisational skills.
Naturally, you will be an excellent communicator, and a trusted and positive team player.
It is also essential you can pick things up quickly, perform in an accurate and precise manner and work well within a diverse and ever-changing environment.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have: Appropriate New Zealand recognised Pharmacy Technician qualificationDemonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with other professionalsExcellent time management, interpersonal and organisational skillsThe ability to be adaptable, flexible and solution focusedHigh levels of personal and professional integrityTe Whatu Ora - Southern has the largest geographical coverage of all the New Zealand regions, providing services to 350,000 people in diverse communities.
