This is mahi that willimprove the health and well-being of everyone in Aotearoa, and we've got anopportunity for you to be part of it.Nga mohiohio e pa ana ki tenei mahi (About this position) Thisrole will provide pharmacist support to communitybased adult mental health service users, working collaboratively within a full multi-disciplinaryteam.You will beproviding direct provision of clinical advice to clients, prescribers andclinicians. This is a community role based within the adult mental health teamat Wairau hospital for the promotion of best practice in all aspects ofpharmaceutical treatment. You will work with Adults who have moderate to severemental health conditions . Ko wai he kaitono totika? (Whois an appropriate applicant?)You will be a motivated pharmacist with recent community and/orhospital pharmacy experience, who is passionate about improving the quality ofcare for mental health service users.A high level of communication and networking skills will beessential, as will a drive to achieve win:win outcomes for service users andmembers of the multi-disciplinary team alike.Current registration with the Pharmacy Council of New Zealand isrequired, along with a current Annual Practising Certificate. Post Graduatequalification in Clinical Pharmacy an advantage. Thisrole will suit a clinician with existing expertise in the treatment of mentaldisorder or one with a passion to gain expertise in this field. Experience andexpertise in physical medicines is also relevant for providing optimum care forour mental health clients.Suitableapplicants will be team players with an appetite for working in a fullymultidisciplinary environment, willing to learn from other as well as shareexpertise. Applicantswill have excellent personal organisations, good time management and enjoyrelating directly with service users.The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand orhold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.
