Pharmaceutical Marketing Manager/ Product Manager This is a rare opportunity to join a well-established, privately owned business headquartered in Auckland, operating in both New Zealand and Australia. To support our continued growth in the pharmaceutical division, we are looking for another Marketing Manager/Product Manager to lead this expanding portfolio in New Zealand. You will be working with some amazing global products that are launching into the New Zealand market. You will be ready for change and wanting to become an integral part of a genuinely purpose led, values-based organisation.
The Role: Reporting to our Head of Digital and Marketing ANZ, in this role you will be responsible for the product planning and marketing of our growing portfolio of pharmaceutical products in New Zealand. You will support our sales team by providing them with the information and resources they need, and you will enjoy spending time in the field with customers, KOLs and our sales team.
What we are looking for: A driven, marketing expert who is digitally savvy and commercial with experience in the pharmaceutical sector.
You will have previously:
Developed and implemented marketing strategies, budgets and plans to promote pharmaceutical products and deliver the required results and exceptional ROI. Managed product lines throughout the product lifecycle from planning, to execution and have ensured that the business strategy, objectives and budgets are delivered in a way that aligns with each product's branding and positioning in the market. Partnered with, and coached, the sales team to support them to deliver their targets and budgets. Developed information and resources to support the sales team with their customers. What you will bring: A tertiary qualification - ideally a Marketing Degree or post graduate marketing qualification and 2 years as a Pharmaceutical Product Manager/ Marketing Manager. Strong business acumen and commercial judgement along with great analytical and numerical skills and the ability to utilise technology and digital marketing. A track record of developing, implementing and reviewing effective marketing strategies, plans and budgets that deliver exceptional ROI Proactive and outside the box thinking and a continuous improvement and innovation mindset Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strategic business relationships Previous experience training and coaching others to increase their product knowledge Great collaboration skills and previous experience working effectively cross functionally Available and happy to travel in NZ (and overseas if required).
