As the Learning Support Manager, you will work closely with our Product & Relationship team and Campus Managers, overseeing the delivery of training that is in line with both curriculum and industry requirements. You will drive student success through proactive strategies, ensuring that the programmes offered are of the highest quality and that literacy and numeracy needs are addressed. Your role will also include fostering a positive, engaging learning environment and ensuring that our tutors are supported, developed, and aligned with our goals of academic excellence and student success. Key responsibilities: Academic leadership and consistency: Lead and develop tutors to ensure high-quality lesson planning and execution while collaborating on curriculum refinement. Tutor leadership and development: Manage tutor recruitment, onboarding, and professional development, ensuring alignment with regulatory and curriculum requirements. Student success and programme quality: Monitor student success rates, implement support strategies for at-risk learners, and maintain continuous improvement in programme quality. Desired Skills and Experience What you'll bring: Experience: 5 to 10 years in vocational education training. Registration: Current plumbing practising licence and required certifications. Qualifications: Adult Learning & Teaching certification. Leadership: Proven ability to inspire and manage a team of tutors. Curriculum Development: Expertise in developing and implementing effective curriculum. Knowledge: Deep understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements in plumbing. Organisational Skills: Strong skills in managing schedules, classroom dynamics, and resources. Commitment: Passion for continuous learning and staying informed on education and trade trends.
