About the Role
As the Permissions Monitoring Improvement Lead, you will be responsible for developing a system to support the compliance monitoring of regulated parties.
Working collaboratively with DOC colleagues from various workgroups throughout the country, you will develop guidelines, templates, training, and a framework for monitoring DOC issued authorisations.
Your work will enable others to plan ahead, ensure quality and consistency is maintained, and prioritise the monitoring of authorities to protect wildlife and uphold conservation values.
Skills and Experience
As the Permissions Monitoring Improvement Lead, you will have a keen interest in regulatory compliance and systems improvement.
You'll bring a resilient can-do attitude and be great at facilitating and coordinating activities to achieve operational outcomes.

Experience in regulatory monitoring, from an operational delivery perspective
An understanding of regulatory systems and stewardship
Experience applying continuous improvement principles to existing systems and processes
A collaborator and influencer, skilled in engaging with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels
Skilled in communicating complex technical information to a diverse range of stakeholders
Experienced in coaching others in the acquisition of technical knowledge
Experience in planning and delivery
Project management experience and developing monitoring frameworks on a national scale is desirable
