You'll have a busy caseload, engaging with a diverse range of applications throughout the country.Your responsibilities will include:Supporting applicants throughout the application process, including pre-application discussions.Conducting critical assessment and analysis of applications.Submitting reports for final decisions.Ensuring a robust process is followed and enforceable contracts are issued.A great aspect of this role is the relationships you'll build with various stakeholder groups and industries. You'll be joining a strong, collaborative team that prides itself on producing professional and high-quality outputs.Minimum RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:Experience working with planning and/or legislative processes.Experience with relevant conservation legislation.Experience analyzing large amounts of complex information to produce high-quality reports and succinct recommendations.Experience and skills in managing a busy caseload.About UsThe Department of Conservation Te Papa Atawhai (DOC) serves to protect and restore nature spaces and species across Aotearoa.
