Secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura, Certificated teacherMathematics and statisticsWa Ora Montessori School is an Area School based in Lower Hutt, Wellington, catering for approximately 300 children and is the only Montessori School in New Zealand that nurtures the child from 0 to 18 years. We are a community-based school with close connections to our whanau (families).We are seeking a Maths teacher to teach in an innovative, integrated and adaptive programme that responds to the needs of this age group. You will be excited by the opportunity to develop strong relationships with highly engaged rangatahi (young adults) in Y8-13 (12-18 year olds).You will possess current New Zealand teacher registration and have prior experience teaching at a High School level with subject knowledge in the Maths curriculum areas. Experience with NCEA to Level 3 is essential.A willingness and ability to take part in special instruction appropriate to the Special Character of the school is also a condition of appointment.
