Perioperative Nurse Coordinator, 0.5 FTEWomen's HealthWe are seeking an experienced surgical nurse to fulfil the role of Perioperative Nurse Coordinator (PNC) for the Gynaecology Surgical Speciality. This is a permanent part-time role. The Perioperative Nurse Coordinator Specialty Nurse works within the Patient Service Centre providing clinical oversight and expertise for the Women's Health surgical speciality nursing and administrative team in the booking and scheduling service. The role is responsible for waiting list and patient management, and works to meet Ministry of Health compliance timeframes and is required to work within stringent reporting frameworks and data quality requirements. You will work closely with all the Gynaecology Surgeons to support the clinically safe management of their patients' elective journey, working in collaboration with the Operations Manager and Clinical Director.This role would suit someone who has minimum of 3 years post registration within an acute and surgical setting and a post graduate certificate in speciality nursing. Your skills will include:advanced physical assessment and history takingcare coordinationconfident decision makingWe will also consider applications from Level 3 nurses who are actively working towards Level 4 and actively pursuing post graduate study.If you have excellent clinical, communication and interpersonal skills and would relish working within a collaborative team dedicated to enhancing the patient journey and patient care we would love to hear from you!
