Apply Now Southern Cross Hamilton Hospital is a well-equipped private surgical hospital based in central Hamilton, proudly providing a wide range of surgical specialties to the wider Waikato community for many years. Our hospital has been extensively expanded and upgraded and now incorporates seven fully equipped operating theatres, 60 inpatient beds and a purpose-built Day Surgery Unit. Comfortable facilities, combined with the very latest in technology and on-site support services, enable independent credentialled medical practitioners to undertake a wide range of procedures. These include routine investigations to complex surgery, with their expertise supported by caring, professional nursing teams.
About the role: Join our dynamic team as a Perioperative Assistant. We're seeking someone to complement our skilled team as our workloads continue to grow. If you bring a positive attitude and a strong work ethic, you'll thrive in our collaborative environment. Flexibility is key, as you'll be required to work rostered shifts with occasional overtime. No night shifts are required, but there's a possibility of weekend work occasionally. While prior experience in this field is preferred, it's not essential – we value the right attitude and commitment above all.
