We are a high-performing Y7–13 secondary school in the scenic Kaipara District, approximately 90 minutes north of Albany.
Due to the size of our school, this is a permanent part-time position but could be negotiated to permanent full-time if you have suitable strengths to meet our curriculum needs. These could be in the areas of:
Numeracy / Maths
Agricultural and horticulture
Science
1MMA is attached to leadership within the learning area where required.
Applicants for positions at Ruawai College must be NZ registered teachers and will endorse the school's academic priority as well as be expected to participate in the co-curricular life of the school. The aspiration for co-curricular activity for this position is taking the lead in organising a school production.
The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position are set by the Secondary Teachers' Collective Agreement. The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $61,678 to $99,216 depending on applicants' qualifications and experience. Individuals' actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.
