Performance Analyst

We are currently searching for a Senior Financial Analyst with excellent experience in manufacturing costing analysis to join our client's team.


As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will work proactively with internal stakeholders to optimise gross profit and inventory. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the Group P&L items from sales down to the gross profit level, creating and analysing the results and forecasting in a timely and meaningful manner. You will also have primary responsibility for the accuracy of inventory valuation. The Senior Financial Analyst will be a trusted partner on all cost elements, particularly manufacturing for the company. Responsibilities:

Providing analysis on sales and gross margin, both historic and future
Working closely with the sales team on understanding and improving margins
Analysing inventory and working with stakeholders to minimise levels
Forecasting and budgeting for all aspects of cost of sales, inventory, and distribution
Providing monthly reporting and variance analysis

About you:
Along with a formal accounting qualification (CA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent), you will have:

At least 5 years prior experience in manufacturing costing analysis
Experience working in an ERP environment
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changeable environment
Desire to work with your stakeholders face to face
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
